First was the ammunition, now comes the weapons
Semper Fi, 0321 sent me this link. I guess a billion or so rounds of ammo are useless without a bunch of new guns to shoot it. Keep in mind, none of the agencies scheduled to receive these weapons deploy their people overseas. This ammo and arsenal isn't for use anywhere but here. And you can bet that the 7,000 rifles are just the tip of the iceberg. This is probably just an initial order.
Like one of the commentors says, we should upgrade our personal arsenals to .308 or 7.62x54r, either of which could be good to 1,000 yards if scoped up properly.

Department of Homeland Security has placed an initial order of up to 7,000 5.56x45mm North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) personal defense weapons (PDW), with a contract life of 5 years, to numerous Department of Homeland Security components, which includes Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), Immigration Customs Enforcement (ICE), and the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC).
The winner of the contract would receive the assured minimum is $30,000 but not to exceed the maximum ceiling of $9,800,000.

Due to the fact that there are no plans to deploy Homeland Security to Iraq , Afghanistan, Yemen or sub-saharan Africa; it becomes obvious that the Homies intend to make war on Americans. My suggestion is, if you currently have a battle rifle in .223 caliber, upgrade immediately to .308 caliber. Eliminate threats at distance, before they can even bring their .223 toys into play. If you are wealthy, upgrade to a .338 Lapua. If you have limited financial means, do not overlook the Russian,factory reconditioned, Mossin Nagant 91-30 in 7.62.x54 caliber. ($120) With a good grade scope, it is a very good long distance shooter with lethal ballistics.
They are trying their level best to foment a shooting revolution so they can legaly crack down militarily and they have now sonic pulse weapons for crowd control and can force humans to run screaming from wherever they point it. They can pulse large enough to destroy flesh at great distances. They hope we go for our guns. Dont buy into it. A Mexican citizen in the video says that Americans don't care about the violence beyond their own borders. Sadly, this is mostly true. Our government allowed hundreds of Mexican citizens to die at the hands of drug cartel thugs through the fast and furious mess. All this to create an illusion. An illusion that our Country requires more gun laws. The atf doesn't seem to know the boundaries any more. They have gotten away with doing whatever they want for so long, that now they don't know the difference between right and wrong. This agency either needs to be seriously reigned in or disbanded before they do something even worse than fast and furious...

Where do they get these people?
As you know, obama and his gang of scumbags lied to us, and to congress, about the attack on our consulate in Libya. No matter what evidence came to light proving the attack was premeditated and carried out by terrorists, they continued to claim it was spontaneous and because of a stupid video. THEY KNEW it was a terrorist attack, yet they lied. Why did they do that? We all know that obama is a compulsive liar, he has proven that over and over. But why, in this particular instance, did they feel the need to feed us a line of bullshit. It's damn insulting that this government thinks we are so stupid that we are going to believe what they tell us regardless of the evidence.
So today, another obama stooge jumps on the grenade in an attempt to take pressure off of obama. Where do they get these people and exactly what are they getting in return for taking the blame for obama's fuckups?
This patsy, like those in the fast and furious scandal, must be getting something damn good in exchange for their silence on what really happened. Isn't there a whole bunch of missing "stimulus" money? Maybe that is being used as obama's patsy slush fund...

Missouri Voters - Don't believe jay nixon's lies...
I'm sure most of you already know that jay nixon is full of crap, just like most democrats. And I'm sure that you also know that you can make words mean about anything you want depending on how you spin them. Well, it seems that nixon has hired some serious spin masters. Here are a couple of the whoppers...
jay nixon claims that in Missouri we are living within our means saying "Every year we’ve balanced our budget without a single tax increase." This is kind of true, except nixon has nothing to do with it. The Missouri Constitution REQUIRES a balanced budget and that is done by the General Assembly. And with a republican controlled State House and State Senate, nixon couldn't raise taxes anyway, it would never pass.
jay nixon said, "We cut the red tape and we eliminated the franchise tax… saving businesses 80 million dollars per year." Actually, nixon had nothing to do with the repeal of the franchise tax. The bill’s
sponsor, State Senator Eric Schmitt, did not work with Jay Nixon to repeal the tax. Nixon didn’t advocate for it and like so many bills the legislature works on, they had no idea where he stood on the measure until after it was passed by the Republican majority.
jay nixon said, "And we’re getting folks back to work…" Well, there are 106,000 FEWER Missourians in the workforce since Jay Nixon took office. From January 2009 to August 2012 Missouri’s labor force shrank more than any bordering state. (U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics)

This wasn't actually jay nixon, but the narrarator of his ad, "Now Missouri has a perfect AAA credit rating." This Nixon’s ad says “NOW” Missouri has a prefect AAA credit rating when in fact our state has earned AAA ratings with all three agencies -Standard & Poor's, Moody's and Fitch - since 1989. So, even when you had nothing to do with something positive like a balanced budget, phrased properly you can make it appear that you were a part of it. Just like magic.

What a pain...
I told you a while back about my TV purchase from Walmart.com, well the TV is mentioned in the post somewhere.
Anyway, I get an email from Walmart asking me to review the product, pretty standard stuff. So I log in to do the review and since I have never done one before I have to choose a screen name. After five damn tries I finally get one that works. That was just the beginning. Holy crap. After about 10 minutes I finally finished the 5 question review.
Talk about over complicated.
But let me tell you, for the money this TV, exceeds my expectations. What a beautiful picture. And the price was excellent.
Anyway, I get an email from Walmart asking me to review the product, pretty standard stuff. So I log in to do the review and since I have never done one before I have to choose a screen name. After five damn tries I finally get one that works. That was just the beginning. Holy crap. After about 10 minutes I finally finished the 5 question review.

But let me tell you, for the money this TV, exceeds my expectations. What a beautiful picture. And the price was excellent.
