liberals can't really be this stupid...
I was listening to Sean Hannity earlier and he had some clown liberal whining and complaining that Mitt Romney pays a lower tax rate than him.
Holy shit.
First off, why do you even care what someone else pays in taxes. I can guarantee you that every single thing on Romney's tax returns is legit, everything. You don't think the irs and every other slimy government agency has already been up his ass with a microscope?
Second, you are a liberal dickhead. This is nothing more than some stupid attempt to try attention away from obama and his lame economy. It doesn't work.
Let me explain it to you. Read it more than once if youa re really slow.
Mitt Romney is retired. He doesn't have a real job any more. He has investments that he purchased with money when he was employed, that HE PAID TAXES ON.
His income now is money he is making off of those investments. That is taxed at a different rate than money that you make at your job, because the initial money HAS ALREADY BEEN TAXED.
Also consider that those investments that Romney made are helping the economy. The money that he invested throughout his working life is still working to help businesses grow and expand, and even more importantly, employ people.
You know what? Mitt Romney is a wealthy guy. He made that money. He worked hard. He took care of his family. He raised a whole mess of children that appear to be good kids. I've never read of them having trouble with the police, or any other kind of trouble. Deal with it. If you are jealous, start your own company. Get a loan against your house. Work 20 hours a day. Risk everything you own or will ever own, and hope like hell you make it.
You liberals really don't get it. Demonizing success is just stupid. Even when you do it as a distraction.
Personally, I am envious of Mitt Romney, but not his money. I wish I had the guts to start a business. I don't. I know that. But I don't think Mitt Romney owes me anything. He did the work. He earned his money.
I don't know if you can tell, but this pisses me off. Over and over, like a broken record. Holy shit...
The Chick-Fil-A thing has me stumped...
Remember a few days ago, the whole thing with Chick-Fil-A and all the people threating to ban them from their cities?
Remember rahm emanuel saying that Chick-Fil-A values are not those of Chicago? He has a point.
Chick-Fil-A runs a chain of nice, clean, well run restaurants. They treat their employees and their customers fairly and with respect.
On the other hand, Chicago is a city with about 20 strip clubs, 20 sex shops and has had about 230 murders so far this year. Oh, and don't forget that it is home to some of the most crooked, corrupt politicians on the entire planet.
So, as you can see, rahm emanuel was right...
Dragon's Breath Kicks Ass...
I haven't put a lot of thought into specialty 12ga. rounds. I figure some 00 buck will neutralize about any threat I come across, but damn! Dragon's breath is pretty awesome. I've seen this round before, but every time is just as fun as the first.
This isn't something you want to shoot in the house.
The lines are way too blurry these days...
So, who are these guys? Is this a team of Marines on the streets of Kabul? Or maybe some Army Special Forces guys in Baghdad? Nope, this is the Anaheim police department.
Does this look right to you? If it does, you have been brainwashed. This is NOT how a police department should be equipped or present themselves to the public.
This is a scare tactic. These guys dress up in this gear designed for the Military and expect you to give them the same respect our Men and Women in the Armed Forces get.
You know, maybe if the police shot a whole lot less innocent people;
a. They would get more repsect.
b. They wouldn't need all of this protective gear.
But, on the upside, they look really cool. I guess that has to count for something...

Oregon criminalizes permaculture; claims state ownership over all rainwater – ponds and swales restricted – jail time for violators
Once again, a guy gets the proper permits to do something ON HIS OWN LAND. The government grants his permit, he spends his money to build the ponds. And then the government changes the rules and cancels his permits.
Petty, stupid government thugs. How long are we going to put up with this bullshit? The government owns the rain water? Come on. How absolutely stupid is that? Can they possibly be serious? Yes, they are. Serious enough to lock this guy up for collecting said rain water on HIS PROPERTY.
Holy shit. We are going to hell at breakneck speed. This government is totally out of control at every level...

There's nothing more refreshing than standing in a cool, summertime rain shower. Or bathing in the warm sunlight on a crisp spring day. Or inhaling the cool autumn air, fresh with the scent of turning leaves and pine needles. These things -- rainwater, sunlight, air -- have long been assumed to be not only free, but un-claimable. You can't claim to own the sunlight that falls on my front yard, for example. A corporation can't claim intellectual property ownership over the air that you breathe and demand you pay a royalty for inhaling.
But today, Jackson County, Oregon says it owns YOUR rainwater, and the county has sentenced a man to 30 days in jail and fined him over $1500, for the supposed "crime" of collecting rainwater on his own property.
The man's name is Gary Harrington, and he owns over 170 acres of land in Jackson County. On that land, he has three ponds, and those ponds collect rainwater that falls on his land. Common sense would say Gary has every right to have ponds with water on his 170 acres of land, but common sense has been all but abandoned in the state of Oregon.
Much like California, Oregon is increasingly becoming a collectivist state. You didn't build that! The government built that! You don't own that! The government owns that! That rainwater that just fell on your land? That's the government's rainwater, and you're going to jail if you try to steal from the government!
That's the explanation from Jackson County officials, who initially granted Harrington "permits" to build ponds back in 2003. Yes, in Oregon you actually need to beg for permission from the government just to have a pond on your own land. But the state of Oregon revoked his permits a few years later, after he had already created the ponds, thus putting Harrington in the position of being a "water criminal" who was "stealing" rainwater from the state.
Tom Paul, administrator of the Oregon Water Resources Department, is an obedient water Nazi. He insists, "Oregon law that says all of the water in the state of Oregon is public water and if you want to use that water, either to divert it or to store it, you have to acquire a water right from the state of Oregon before doing that activity."

Fauquier County steps over the line
This is getting out of control. Some stupid bureaucrat threatens a farmer with massive fines for doing exactly what the farmer has a permit to do? And then these government thugs change the rules mid-stream without telling anyone? How much bullshit is this? This type of thing is happening all too often lately.
These mid-level manager type government thugs pick on people just because they can. The local farmers are fighting back, and they should. While going with their pitchforks is bound to make an impression, it isn't nearly the impression that will be made as when folks start showing up with their ARs and AKs.
One of these days, very soon, we will begin to set this right. We will remind these people exactly who works for whom in this Country...

Farmers in Fauquier County are planning to bring their pitchforks to an Aug. 2 hearing before the Board of Zoning Appeals to protest the arbitrary treatment of one of their own. On April 30, Zoning Administrator Kimberley Johnson sent Martha Boneta an official cease-and-desist notice for selling farm products and hosting a birthday party for her best friend's 10-year-old daughter on her 70-acre Paris, Va., farm without a special administrative permit.
Johnson threatened to fine Boneta $5,000 per violation if she did not stop the alleged unlawful activities within 30 days. In doing so, Boneta's fellow farmers say, Johnson stepped far beyond her authority. They're supporting her appeal before the BZA because they rightly fear that left unchecked, this infringement on one farmer's freedom to make a living will spread to other agricultural enterprises like a dangerous pest.
The Virginia Right to Farm Act prohibits local authorities from treating agricultural activity as a "nuisance" -- which seems to be what's happening here, since Johnson was reportedly responding to complaints from nearby residents. Boneta already had a business license the county issued her in June 2011 that allowed her to operate a "retail farm shop" on her property. Her license application specifically noted her intention to sell handspun yarns, birdhouses, soaps and other handicrafts in addition to fresh vegetables, eggs, herbs and honey.

Another Reason to Vote for Romney
All governments are - as demonstrated by how they operate - violators of the rights of their citizens (or "subjects", if you are British). The government of Israel is no exception, even if it is less corrupt and abusive than our government under Obama. But the people of Israel, along with their national goals and moral values, are every bit as righteous and deserving of support as any of our other allies, such as Britain and Australia.
Romney, on the campaign trail, had the balls to voice actual support for Israel. Where Obama supports his friends the muslims, the "Palestinians" in Israel and its former territory called Gaza, where he refuses to call Jerusalem what it is - the capitol of Israel - Romney made of point of doing just that. He called it the capitol of Israel, as it in fact actually is. The White House has worked to remove any reference to Jerusalem as being part of Israel, playing to the "Palestinian" crowd there as well as muslims everywhere else. Romney, however, has indicated he supports the fact that Jerusalem is Israeli land.

We don't have to spend the blood of our young men and women in our military fighting for the Israelis - something the Jew-haters and Israel-bashers love to keep pounding on as a reason for abandoning Israel to our mutual enemies. Our best support for Israel would be to merely stay out of her way, to quit giving aid to the "Palestinian" enemy, to stop pretending that they have any right to any of Israel's territory. Even realizing that Romney is a politician, and that his campaign rhetoric most likely has all the value of a pile of bovine waste products, the mere fact that he is willing to distinguish his campaign from the muslim-loving rhetoric - and proven muslim-loving behavior - of Obama and his administration, is more reason to vote for him this time. At least as a delaying action until some real conservative becomes available for election in 2016.
If you cannot see, if you aren't aware of, all of the things Obama has been doing to destroy the America we knew, to transform her into a Marxist wasteland and turn us into the new Kulaks of the world, then you simply have not been paying attention.

"The plan I'm announcing focuses on rescuing families who've played by the rules and acted responsibly," President obama said of his Home Affordable Modification Program in Mesa, Ariz., on February 18, 2009. "It will give millions of families resigned to financial ruin a chance to rebuild," he claimed. Over 40 months and millions of foreclosures later, we now know that HAMP was never really intended to help families stay in their homes.
Neil Barofsky, the former special inspector general for the Troubled Asset Relief Program, has published a new book, "Bailout: An Inside Account of How Washington Abandoned Main Street While Rescuing Wall Street." It presents a damning indictment of the obama administration's execution of the TARP program generally, and of HAMP in particular.
Barofsky, a registered democrat and obama donor, had been an assistant U.S. attorney investigating mortgage fraud when he was appointed to be the top watchdog for the TARP program.
From the beginning, Barofsky had major objections to HAMP's design. Among its worst aspects was a system of giving banks $1,500 bonus payments and servicers $1,000 bonus payments for each loan modification they processed. This system encouraged mortgage servicers to approve temporary "trial" loan modifications, even as they continued the foreclosure process against borrowers. Ultimately, after collecting the bonuses, they would deny permanent mortgage modifications. Thus, HAMP helped drive thousands of already-distressed families into foreclosure after giving them nothing but a few months of false hope, and possibly causing them to cough up more in mortgage payments than they would have in a foreclosure without government interference.
Barofsky writes that "it seemed as though Treasury simply didn't care about the suffering of so many borrowers. Instead, Treasury officials seemed too busy congratulating themselves on the trial modifications the program was raking up ... Helping banks, not homeowners, did in fact seem to be Treasury's biggest concern."
By delaying millions of foreclosures, HAMP gave bailed-out banks more time to absorb housing-related losses while other parts of Obama's bailout plan repaired holes in the banks' balance sheets. According to Barofsky, Treasury Secretary tim geithner even had a term for it. HAMP borrowers would "foam the runway" for the distressed banks looking for a safe landing. It is nice to know what Geithner really thinks of those Americans who were busy losing their homes in hard times.
The most disturbing parts of Barofsky's book are stories of Americans who were made worse off by obama's bailouts. One California business owner who could have sold his house at a loss, but maintained some savings and his credit history, was enticed into a HAMP trial modification that was supposed to cut his payment in half. Instead, thanks to HAMP, he lost his house, his savings, his credit and his business.

DHS Prepares for Civil Unrest as Obama Poised to Destroy 2nd Amendment

Surveillance drones have a new mission. According to the department of homeland security (DHS) they will be used for “public safety”. janet napolitano, Secretary of the DHS, told a House Committee meeting on Homeland Security that the more than 30,000 drones that will be deployed into American skies are just arbitrarily watching out for US citizens.
napolitano stated : “With respect to Science and Technology, that directorate, we do have a funded project, I think it’s in California, looking at drones that could be utilized to give us situational awareness in a large public safety [matter] or disaster, such as a forest fire, and how they could give us better information.”
Secretly, DHS have been taking bid for contractors who can install “aerial remote sensing” which uses light detection and ranging (LIDAR) that would be part of the unmanned drone missions within domestic US territory.
“DHS believes these airborne images are essential for homeland defense missions, such as planning for National Special Security Events (Super Bowls or a national political conventions come to mind); enhancing border, port and airport security; as well as performing critical infrastructure inventories and assessments” and has spent over $50 million to employ contractors, as well as processors for images and dissemination throughout the DHS.
Coincidentally, the Federal Protective Service (FPS) has been given the responsibility to protecting federally owned property while preparing for civilian led riots expected in the near future.
Part of the preparatory measures was an order of 150 sets of riot gear that was requested to be filled exponentially – within 15 days.
The items requested were:
– 147 “Upper Body and Shoulder Protection” which are brand name or equal to “Centurion Soft Shell Riot Control System (CPX2500)”
– 152 “Thigh-Groin Protector” brand name or equivalent to “Centurion TPX200”
– 156 “Forearm Protectors” brand name or equivalent to “Centurion (FP100)”
– 147 units of “Hard Shell Shin Guards” brand name or equivalent to “Centurion (TS70)”
– 147 carry bags brand name or equivalent to Exotech (E4), 147 tactical gloves brand name or equivalent to “Damascus (DMZ333)”
– 147 riot helmets brand name or equivalent to “MaxPro (TR1000)”
The FPS is anticipating that police or military wearing the gear would encounter “blunt force trauma” to the upper torso, as well as potential beatings with “blunt objects”. To compliment these outfits, are required riot helmets with “tactical face shield” equipped with “liquid seals”.

Why Romney is a Necessary Evil
Many of us on the conservative Right (not to be confused with Republicans), Libertarians included, feel that voting for Romney is morally wrong. Many of us have voted for the "lesser of two evils" for many years, believing that Carter and Clinton and others would do more damage than a "left-of-center" Republican, especially ones who voted for gun control, such as Bush, Sr. and now Mitt Romney, and we no longer want to vote if it means we cannot vote for someone for whom it is actually worth voting.
We have never been faced with such a clear-cut threat of the destruction of America before, though. We now have a creature at the controls of the ship of State who is intent upon transforming America into a collectivist State, even if it must be done by driving her up onto the rocks of economic catastrophe and the destruction of our national security. A creature who was born to, raised by, and mentored by admitted Communists. The Left can make all of the references they like about Communism being dead, as Bill Clinton did when he claimed that no American Communist had been seen in over ten years (remember Van Jones, peckerwood?), but Communism/Marxism lives on in the minds and plans of those who are running this administration.
I have said it before, and it has recently been reinforced by an article at The American Thinker: He has maneuvered Congress, with the help of Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi, into providing him with the power to ignore Congress in furthering his agenda. For example, in Obamacare there are written permissions for various "Secretaries" such as the Secretary of Health and Human Services, to mandate regulations and provisions as determined by his/her agency, as well as to deny services at the whim of the agency. So the agency could demand that doctors provide services to illegal aliens while denying the same services to anyone over 65, or who is a Republican or Libertarian, or who had donated to any party other than the Democratic Party. (We have already seen Republican Party donors target by IRS and other agencies, just as Guild Guitars was charged with a violation of the Lacey Act, while Martin Guitars - a Democratic Party donor who used the same source of wood that Guild purchased - was not.)
As the article mentioned above articulates:
"Further, this administration has shown contempt for the courts by ignoring various court orders, e.g. the Gulf of Mexico oil drilling moratorium, as well as stonewalling subpoenas and requests issued by Congress. The Eric Holder Justice Department has become the epitome of corruption as part of the most dishonest and deceitful administration in American history. In a second term the arrogance of Barack Obama and his minions will become more blatant as he will not have to be concerned with re-election.
Who will be there to enforce the rule of law, a Supreme Court ruling or the Constitution? No one. Barack Obama and his fellow-travelers will be unchallenged as they run roughshod over the American people."
It goes on to add:
"Many Republicans and conservatives dissatisfied with the prospect of Mitt Romney as the nominee for president are instead focused on re-taking the House and Senate. That goal, while worthy and necessary, is meaningless unless Barack Obama is defeated. The nation is not dealing with a person of character and integrity but someone of single-minded purpose and overwhelming narcissism. Judging by his actions, words and deeds during his first term, he does not intend to work with Congress either Republican or Democrat in his second term but rather to force his radical agenda on the American people through the power he has usurped or been granted."
It sounds trite to say, "This time it really is important to vote for the lesser of two evils", but trite or not, it truly is the most important thing we can do. It doesn't matter that Romney is practically a Democrat or that he voted in favor of gun control, or that he originated legislation containing a health care mandate in Massachusetts.
As bad a choice as he is, he will not continue down the same road as Obama. He will not work to dismantle our military, our nuclear deterrent, our national security. He will not leak vital national security secrets, will not provide Russia and China with details of our missile systems, surveillance satellites, or submarine propulsion systems (a Clinton betrayal). He will not seek to help install Muslim Brotherhood governments throughout the Middle East and Africa, while working for the downfall of the State of Israel, our only ally in that region. He will not sabotage our oil, natural gas, and coal industries, will not try to drive the costs of electricity and gasoline up to where many of us will have a difficult time affording it. Even more importantly, he will not work to hand our sovereignty as a nation over to the U.N., allowing them to determine when we should go to war, what we can do with the resources of our country and offshore waters, or whether or not Americans can keep and bear small arms and ammunition.
There are many reasons why Romney is one of the last people we should be voting for, but not as many reasons as Obama is the very last person for whom we should be voting. But beyond that, Obama must be defeated, because we have seen proof that he will ignore Congress, the Supreme Court, the Constitution and the very rule of law upon which our country depends for justice and for liberty.

Willie Edwards is a Badass...
Well, Swamp People has been over for a couple of weeks now and I'm already missing it. If you haven't watched it, you are truly missing out. All the people on this show have balls of stainless steel, even the Ladies. They must have, how else do you explain catching a big ass alligator on a piece of string and then dragging it on the boat?
Troy Landry is probably the most popular guy on the show, and he is the King of the Swamp.
But Willie Edwards defines the word Badass. Since the series started, he has been shot in the face, by his dad. His Mom removed the lead from his face. He has been bitten by an alligator. He catches some of the biggest gators on the show by throwing a line with a treble hook on the end of it across their body and snags them. He has been bitten by about 500 hundred snakes and he went all "Crocodile Dundee" on an 8 foot gator and stabbed it in the skull with his pocket knife. Holy crap.
I could hang out with this guy, he knows how to have a good time...

So rahm emanuel says that Chick-Fil-A doesn't have chicago values, yet he invites the racist, anti-semite, louis farrakahn to help out with his city's overwhelming violence problem.
It would seem to me that if chicago had a whole lot more of the values Chick-Fil-A represents, they wouldn't have as much violence.
By the way, me and some guys from work will be having lunch at Chick-Fil-A to show our support. If you have one in your neck of the woods, pay them a visit...
