bloomberg is up to his old tricks in New York City. He is trying to ban super sized sodas and other drinks containing sugar.
How is New York not a ghost town? Holy shit. You can't smoke, eat salt or anything containing trans-fats AND if you live in the city, between federal, state and local taxes you might keep about 40% of your paycheck.
What a load of bullshit...

obama, once again, shows he is an asshole...
From

obama was recently in Poland, a U.S. ally, giving a speech and a posthumous award to a Hero of WWII. The person recieving the award, Jan Karski, escaped Soviet imprisonment, was horribly tortured by the gestapo, and still risked his life to sneak past German guards into the Jewish ghetto to see how the Nazis were abusing Jews. Karski then disguised himself as a Ukrainian guard to visit a transfer station that sorted Jews on their way to the death camps.
As an eyewitness to the German murder machine, the Polish underground sent Karski on a secret mission to tell the Allies what was happening. In 1942, the Polish underground government issued a report called "The Mass Extermination of Jews in German Occupied Poland." It said: "The new methods of mass slaughter applied during the last few months confirm that the German authorities aim with systematic deliberation at the total extermination of the Jewish population."
Karski took his eyewitness accounts and the Polish government's report to London and Washington to ask Great Britain and the United States to stop the Holocaust.
Anyway, obama refered to the nazi death camps as "Polish death camps". The people of Poland were slaughter by the millions by hitler and his nazi scumbags. The people of Poland had nothing to do with the running of the camps or the horrible atrocities that occured there, they just happened to be located in Poland.
After this, the people of Poland demanded an apology from obama. Of course, through his surrogates, obama has so far refused. What an asshole. jay carney, obama's liar in chief, claims that obama merely misspoke and that it is regrettable. No shit? This entire administration is a bunch of scumbag morons. A simple, sincere apology would have smoothed this over with our Ally, instead they choose to go the way of the dickhead. Would you expect anything different from these clowns?
On behalf of myself and all DECENT Americans, I apologize for obama being an arrogant dumbass. Poland, you have my respect, and I hope you don't hold the words and actions of one idiot against our entire Nation...

Romney strikes back, kind of...

I could have done so much more with this ad. Romney and his people need to take the gloves off and start playing for keeps. This soft hitting "McCain" stuff isn't going to work. Maybe they should have interviewed some of the people who lost their jobs at solyndra, or one of the almost endless "green" energy companies we have been forced to invest in that have gone belly up. They could have made this ad about two hours long if they started talking about how all of the people who owned and operated these companies are associated with obama.
Romney needs to go on the attack now and stay there. Do you think obama and his gang of thugs are going to take it easy on Romney? I kind of doubt it.
Romney makes it official...

With a win in Texas last night, Romney wrapped up enough delegates to push him past the 1144 needed to be the nominee.
He may not be our dream candidate, but he's the one we have. We need to start backing the guy or we are looking at another four years of arrogance in chief, obama.
I got this in an email yesterday, think about it a bit...

Columnist Andrew McCarthy gives us what probably is the most important question
regarding the upcoming presidential election . . . .
"If Mitt wins the nomination, as seems very likely, I will enthusiastically support his candidacy.
For my friends who have hesitation on that score, I'd just ask you to keep four things in mind:
1. Justice Scalia just turned 78
2. Justice Kennedy will turn 78 later this year
3. Justice Breyer will be 76 in August
4. Justice Ginsburg turned 81 about a week ago.
We wish them all well, of course, but the brute fact is that whoever we elect as president in November is almost certainly going to choose at least one and maybe more new members of the Supreme Court
- in addition to hundreds of other life-tenured federal judges, all of whom will be making momentous decisions about our lives for decades to come.
So for anybody who is thinking of not voting because your favorite didn't get nominated, or writing in a candidate who can't win . . . .
Imagine this: SUPREME COURT JUSTICE ERIC HOLDER

'Uncomfortable' with Calling Fallen Soldiers 'Heroes'
From
BillyBob
at
7:27 AM
Over the weekend, some dickhead on msnbc, that nobody has ever heard of said this...
I think it's interesting because I think it is very difficult to talk about the war dead and the fallen without invoking valor, without invoking the words "heroes." Why do I feel so [uncomfortable] about the word "hero"? I feel comfortable -- uncomfortable -- about the word because it seems to me that it is so rhetorically proximate to justifications for more war. Um, and, I don't want to obviously desecrate or disrespect memory of anyone that's fallen, and obviously there are individual circumstances in which there is genuine, tremendous heroism: hail of gunfire, rescuing fellow soldiers and things like that. But it seems to me that we marshal this word in a way that is problematic. But maybe I'm wrong about that.
It's real easy for some stupid prick that has never even thought about sacrificing everything for the freedoms we enjoy in this Country to say something so stupid. Look, if you don't have the balls to defend this Country yourself, at least have the courtesy to show respect to those that do, especially those that have fallen in the effort.
When I VOLUNTEERED for the Marine Corps at 17 years old, I knew the possible ramifications of that decision. I knew that at some point I may be asked to defend this Country with my life. I was willing to accept that, I still am, for the sake of freedom and what this Country represents around the world. The Men and Women who are currently serving our Country are all Heroes, every one of them. They chose this life for you and our way of life.
For some generic assclown on one of the lamest cable "news" channels to make remarks of this nature is just dumb. But then, maybe he was counting on the fact that their viewership is almost nothing to save him.
He has since apologized, but it was a sorry apology at best. You know, if you don't say stupid shit to begin with, you don't have to apologize...

Class warfare... what a load of bullshit.
From
BillyBob
at
7:20 PM
obama and his gang of thugs have been playing the class warfare game since he took office. It's always something. All this "fair share" stuff has been played out in my opinion.
Here are a couple of things to think about every time they start playing this game...
The top 1% of wage earners in this Country pay 40% of the taxes. If that isn't their "fair share" plus a bunch more, then what is?
The bottom 40% of wage earners pay 0% of the taxes. Not only that, many in that bottom 40% get back more money from the government than they paid in.
Look, I don't give a rats ass what other people make. That is between them and their employer. I accepted my wage when I took my job. I'll never get rich off of it, but I support my family, I put a little money aside when I can and I enjoy what I do. What more can I ask for?
If I were more of a risk taker, I would have started my own business a long time ago. I'm not, I didn't.
See, this is what people in the government don't understand, many of the people they constantly demonize as wealthy, and one point risked everything. They risked their future, their savings, the security of a decent job, to start a business. They took risks many Americans just aren't willing to take. And many of them are now providing decent jobs to other Americans, some of those who aren't willing to risk it all, like me.
How is that bad? Didn't it used to be the American dream to start a business and make a little money? When did profit and wealth become dirty words? And what's funny, some of the people doing the most squawking have already made their fortune. nancy pelosi and her husband are worth MILLIONS. The insider trading sure helped them out in that regard. obama himself is worth over $10 MILLION dollars. This is typical democrat strategy, do as I say and not as I do. Watch me beat someone up for doing exactly the same thing I am doing. How do people keep falling for this same old line?
Like you black folks? What the hell? The democrats have convinced you to vote for them for the last 50 years, and where has it gotten you? Seriously. Think about it. They have convinced you that the very best you can do is a life of government dependency. Look around, there are a lot of very influential and important black Americans and most of them are Republicans. Sure, there are exceptions, like jesse jackson and al sharpton. But they have made their fortunes at the expense of the rest of the black community.
Do you understand that Republicans want everyone to be successful? Not just white people, all people.
One other quick thing before I end this rant, not all success is measured with dollar signs, Believe it or not, there are people in this who fell they have reached their dream and are far from rich. That's what it's all about, having a dream and seeing it come to fruition. Money is nice, but it isn't everything, and money can't always buy dreams...

Watch this video. And as you get towards the end, take special note that the irs is FULLY aware of this scam and has done NOTHING about it. NOTHING!
How many BILLIONS of American tax dollars have to be wasted before it becomes an issue?
In my opinion, ONE tax dollar is too much to waste. The people we have trusted to make sure our money is being spent wisely are idiots. Our entire system is broken. These people don't give one damn about us and what it takes to generate those tax dollars. I don't know about the rest of you, but I work hard for my money AND the tax dollars I send to the idiots in washington. Our entire federal government needs to be run off, and most of them locked up. Are you tired of this shit yet? I have been for a long time.

obama: I'm Cleaning Up After "Wild Debts" Caused By Republicans
From
BillyBob
at
5:32 PM
I am absolutely STUNNED that there are people in this Country that believe this crap. There is no doubt that George W. Bush ran up some debt, none. But for obama to act as if he is innocent is beyond outrageous. In less than four years he has racked up more debt than Bush did in eight years, yet he is merely an innocent bystander? Don't listen to his words, look at the deeds. Take the time to go beyond the teleprompter delivered speech and look at the state of our economy. Look at the REAL unemployment numbers. It certainly isn't the 8.2% that obama and his thugs claim it is. It's over 10%. Look at the demonization of business in this Country. If you were a small business owner, would you hire or grow your business in this economy and atmosphere?
obama and harry reid have fought the Republicans in the House every single time they proposed spending cuts, every time. And then they claim that the Republicans have no plan. It's a lie, every stinking word.
I'm not going to begin to say that Republicans don't hold some of the blame for the way things are right now, they do. But to be made the bad guy in our current situation is wrong. Even if obama were to win a second term (God forbid) at what point would he be responsible for his own actions? Let me tell you, never. It will always be somebody else's fault. obama is incapable of accepting blame for anything. One of the best signs of a good leader is one who is willing to accept responsibility for his own actions. We have no leader...
From Real Clear Politics
“I don’t know how they've been bamboozling folks into thinking that they are the responsible, fiscally-disciplined party. They run up these wild debts and then when we take over we have to clean it up,” obama said. “And then they point and say, 'Look how irresponsible they are.' Look at facts, look at the numbers. And now I want to finish the job," President obama said at a fundraiser in Denver.
“This election will be closer than last one. People don't remember last election was close. We're going to have to contend with even more negative ads, even more cynicism and nastiness and just plain foolishness.”

It looks like the obama administration ratted out the Doctor that helped them capture bin laden.
How is that for taking care of those that take care of you? You would think that they would move this guy out of harms way if for no other reason than to ensure future cooperation from other informants.
What do you think possible informants down the road are going to do with their information? If it were me, I would keep it to my self. If obama and his gang of idiots don't care any more than that about the people helping us round up these terrorist thugs, the well is going to dry up real quick.
It's far more important to parade around like a runt rooster crowing about an accomplishment than it is to ensure the safety of our Nation, at least to an arrogant prick like obama...

Facebook IPO...
From
BillyBob
at
7:19 PM
As it turns out, the Facebook IPO might have been overhyped, since it turned out to be a little underwhelming.
I'm surprised they haven't gone bankrupt yet, since obama was pimping them in a townhall meeting.
I just find it hard to believe that a company that generates as little actual revenue as Facebook does could go into an IPO valued as high as it was. I think the revenue generated per user is around the $5 dollar mark. Even with millions and millions of users, revenue stream should be important, shouldn't it? Maybe somebody with some real stock experience can chime in and enlighten me a bit.
It's also a little weird that Facebook could be valued at more than some companies in this Country that are Institutions, that have been around for 100 years (and have been successful).
It could also be that a lot of people were still a bit skeptical after the whole internet bubble of the late 90's, when companies that produced ZERO revenue were trading for massive amounts of money. Paper millionaires one and all...
I would make a piss-poor junkie...

I would have knocked somebody in the head today for a peek at FoxNews or the Drudge Report. Holy crap! I'm glad to be home!...
