So, here we are. It's Wednesday and we are stuck with obama for another four years. I'm not happy about it.
But here is the thing. After having the night to think about it, I'm not pissed off at obama. I'm pissed off at the republican party. Do you realize how easy it should have been to beat obama? It should have been a cake walk. It should have been a landslide. With the economy STILL swirling the toilet bowl and the fact that people getting disability is many times greater than the people getting jobs, this election should have been a no brainer.
First, they gave us the guy that John McCain beat. No offense to Mitt Romney. I think he would have made a decent president.
Second, they let obama and the liberal media set the pace and the tone for the entire campaign. It was all defend and no attack, from anybody, ever. That's exactly why the republicans also lost about every senate race too.
This should have been so easy. So damn easy.
But, here we are, one day later and we are in worse shape than we were yesterday. And it isn't about to get any better now that obama has nothing to lose. He is going to do whatever the hell he wants, whenever the hell he wants. I doubt he will even attempt to deal with congress, it's going to be an executive order bonanza and there won't be a damn thing we can do about it.
john boehner has proven that he has no balls, so we can't expect any kind of challenge from the republicans in the house. Basically, obama is just about free to ruin this Country as he sees fit.
Buckle up people. Stock up on food, water and especially ammo. The end is coming sooner than you think...
I went to bed last night in ignorance of the outcome. I pretty much expected this, figuring that Obama's machine would end up controlling the count - either directly or through massive voter fraud in all of the major cities - and taking the election.
ReplyDeleteNonetheless, it is like receiving confirmation of a fatal form of cancer. I went to bed knowing that was a possible diagnosis, only to have it confirmed this morning. I'm afraid America is going to die a rather painful death over the next four+ years.
(You don't think the man who was ineligible to run in the first place will let one little part of the Constitution - which he completely ignores - stop him from being President any longer than he wishes to, do you?)
I can't predict if this will be a slow death, or if Obama's "flexibility" now that he has stolen the election will cause him to increase the rate at which the country fails. I'm betting (literally, with what's left of my limited resources) that we have only a year or two of time left as anything even resembling the Republic for which our flag stood.
Bill Whittle said it in his video "Falling on Principle" (was that supposed to be "Failing"?) This was the last election that had even the _appearance_ of allowing the peons the illusion that voting made a difference.
Enjoy whatever time you now have with your loved ones.
I couldn't go to bed RegT. I had to know. I wish I had gone to sleep. It would have at least put it off for a few more hours.
DeleteOh well, here we are a few days later and we are still alive and kicking and able to think about where we head from here.
I think the storm that is coming will sort things out, one way or another...
Buckle up people. Stock up on food, water and especially ammo. The end is coming sooner than you think...
ReplyDeleteTry to have a little faith brother.......Prase the lord and pass the ammo. 8~)
Maybe I shouldn't have said "end", but a day of reckoning is coming and we all need to be prepared. What we find on the other side of what's to come? Nobody knows, but we will see soon enough...
