It would be simple to make him a precision shooter: simply have him place the crown of the barrel against his dominant eye and pull the trigger. Hell, either eye would do, although it might end up being a flesh wound, even so.
He's good. With my help he *could* be the best.

Come to think of it, you are quite right, he could shoot just fine using your technique.
