Vote for obama?

I read an article on another blog over the weekend, and I have been thinking about it since.

The guy that wrote the article makes a lot of good points. Let me give you the gist of it. While he is a conservative, he is planning to vote for obama. Let me explain. As we all know, the heart of the republican party, the establishment republicans, are, for the most part, no better than democrats. They are big government, big spending scumbags just like nancy pelosi and harry reid. So, in his estimation, a vote for Romney will further that agenda, and a vote for obama will really be a vote for the Tea Party in 2016.

Here's my problem with this entire experiment, whoever is president from 2012 to 2016 will probably have an opportunity to appoint at least one supreme court justice and maybe two. Those are LIFETIME appointments boys and girls. And in most cases, that is a long time. Look at kagen and sotomayor, do you think we can stand one or two more of them? We will be truly screwed in A LOT of areas if obama is able to continue to stack the supreme court with his hard left lackeys. Do you think the government is in your business now? Just wait. You know all those cases that wind up going 5-4 now? How about if they all went 6-3 the other way? There is no way in hell obama would ever appoint a supreme court justice that DIDN'T rule based on a liberal slant.

Secondly, we are already so far in debt it is going to take decades to work out of it, if ever. We can't stand any more bailouts or stimulus programs. We can't stand any more of our tax dollars being handed to bogus "green" companies so that obama's supporters get their payoff.

You know, Romney may not be the most conservative guy. We all know that. But he has the business experience to get our economy moving in the right direction. He knows that the regulations that have been imposed on companies in recent years are killing job growth and productivity. He knows that "profit" isn't a bad word. He knows that drilling for oil on our own soil is a way to produce many thousands of jobs and help us to keep billions of dollars a year here, in our own Country.

Romney isn't perfect. Not by any stretch of the imagination. But he is what we have.

Some of the people who commented on this article suggested voting for a third party. That's all well and good, but that is the same as a vote for obama. There is no way Gary Johnson is going to win, not gonna happen. And sending a message to establishment republicans is great too, but why would we do that at the expense of our Country? If obama wins another term I'm afraid it will be too late for the Tea Party. It will be too late for any of us. obama has proven that he can and will violate the Constitution at will. There are never any repercussions from democrats or republicans. A second term would be a mandate in his eyes. He would rob us of our freedoms with no regard whatsoever.

Besides that, there is no way in hell I could enter a voting booth and put a mark beside obama's name. You couldn't put a gun to my head and make me vote for that arrogant prick, never. I would feel like a traitor to my Country for the rest of my life...
